Son Brull, Mallorca to launch new villa suites: Family owned design hotel to unveil two brand new villa suites in August
London, June 2018 / This August, Son Brull in Mallorca will be unveiling two brand-new villa suites, the first of their kind at the hotel and just in time for summer. Perfect for families and groups of friends, each two-bedroom villa suite situated in the hotel’s idyllic gardens will offer the ideal combination of space and privacy while remaining fully serviced. Situated in the northern part of Mallorca near Pollensa, this family owned and managed hotel is housed in a former monastery that dates back to the 12th century, in a peaceful rural setting for guests looking to disconnect and spend some quality time surrounded by nature.
Each villa suite will span 100sqm inside, along with over 130sqm of surrounding private terrace and gardens. Renowned Spanish architect Carmen Pinós has lead this new expansion at Son Brull, from the structural design to the landscaping and interiors. The design of these new suites will follow Son Brull’s signature sophisticated style, with exterior stone walls, light wood furnishings in soft colours and textures, as well as local artwork throughout. Each villa will also proudly feature a piece of artwork from a young member of the hotel’s family, an accomplished artist herself, adding a special touch of the family’s personality. The suites will each offer two en-suite bedrooms, with the master bedroom featuring a king-sized bed, double bath and rain shower, and the second bedroom offering twin beds, which can also be re-arranged into a second king-sized bed, as well as a rain shower. Bathrooms will feature home-made created from oranges sourced locally.
A spacious and open living room complete with a cosy fireplace, B&O television, Google Chromecast, Nespresso coffee machine, fully-stocked minibar fridge and Wi-Fi makes the ideal place to unwind in privacy. In typical Son Brull style, the villas will pay homage to the beautiful nature of Mallorca, featuring living roofs and surrounded by vineyards and private gardens. Son Brull’s villa suites will each have their own private outdoor lap pool, heated to 24 degrees Celsius and measuring 5×2 metres in size and 1.5 metres in depth. These pools are the perfect addition for families with young children, as the hotel’s main pool is only available to guests over the age of twelve.
These brand-new villa suites are the latest addition to the hotel, following the exciting launch of its new spa in March, which has at its heart a focus on getting back to nature and reconnecting with the earth, featuring the local prickly pear as the main treatment ingredient, with its seeds used to exfoliate and its oil, full of antioxidants, to soothe, along with aromas of other Mediterranean plants grown in the garden.
Nightly rates at Son Brull’s new villa suites start from €1,210, based on two people sharing on a B&B basis and including VAT, and €1,452 based on four people sharing.
