Brasserie Joël introduces new sharing menus

French restaurant Brasserie Joël located at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London hotel is delighted to introduce its new concept menu this spring, the focus being on sharing dishes which makes it a perfect choice for families and groups. Head chef Walter Ishizuka has created a selection of exciting new dishes including: duck terrine with cornichons and country bread; homemade salmon gravlax with marinated beetroot and horseradish cream; and aged beef tournedos rossini with foie gras, potato cake and truffle sauce.  Classic favourites such as lobster risotto and roast suckling pork shoulder will still be available on the new, more affordable menu and diners will also have the option of ordering sharing versions of the starter dishes.

Sundays will be the perfect time for families and large groups to dine, with the launch of the new Sunday roast to share. Priced at £12.50 per person, guests can choose from a selection of delicious meat roasts including roasted baby chicken, served with lemon, baby potatoes and thyme jus; and rack of lamb with confit garlic and watercress.

Brasserie Joël is also delighted to announce the news that Mehdi El Boukili has been appointed as Restaurant Manager. After studying at Lycée Professionnel Hotelier Challes-les-Eaux in France, he worked within a number of Michelin starred environments including Gordon Ramsay at Claridges and Royal Hospital Road. Mehdi joined the team at Brasserie Joel in 2010 and is looking forward to his new role and sharing his knowledge and experience with the team.

Located within the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London Hotel on the vibrant South Bank opposite Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, Brasserie Joël is only steps from the city’s most iconic attractions including the London Eye, London Aquarium and Royal Festival Hall. The hotel’s other distinctive dining options include Ichi Sushi and Sashimi Bar, espressamente illy coffee bar and for cocktails, the stylish Primo Bar. After dining, guests can also head to the new Balinese-inspired Mandara Spa which offers a full complement of relaxing treatments including facials by Elemis and nail services and waxing by Bliss.
