Naumi Auckland Airport, New Zealand’s newest design-hotel, adds extra Oomph and Zing to meetings facilities
London, May 2018 / A game changer for the area, Naumi Auckland Airport has revealed details of its one-of-a-kind meetings and events spaces. Opened in February 2018 as the first property in Australasia from Naumi Hotels, the Singapore-based design hotel group, Naumi Auckland Airport has been designed to exude a contemporary vibe, with bold accents of colour and playful details at every turn, including its meeting space. Located in the airport precinct, south of the city centre and just minutes from the international and domestic airports, the hotel offers a perfect stylish stopover for business travellers and delegates for events and conferences.
With over 500sqm of meeting space, Naumi Auckland Airport sets the new bar for meetings and events in Auckland, offering flexible indoor and outdoor spaces that are the antidote to dreary corporate meeting rooms and cookie-cutter interiors. With names such as Razzle-Dazzle, Oomph and Zing, each room can be dressed for business, formal events or more relaxed spaces with bean bags and tasty treats – or mix and match a shot of razzle-dazzle with serious business. Naumi’s underlying attitude is to always include a touch of fun while at work.
The pool-side Marquee or Naumi Gardens add the option of meetings outdoors amongst the fresh air and flowers. The hotel offers the “Naumilicious” menu for meetings and events, including fun choices such as the Barbie and Ken BBQ Buffet and plenty of both healthy and indulgent options.
“Razzle-Dazzle”
From tech companies and start-ups to fashion and lifestyle brands, Naumi Auckland is an exciting new events venue for all industries. Razzle-Dazzle offers 170sqm of meeting space and a maximum capacity of 230 people in cocktail-style seating. The space includes separate external access, large doors, high ceilings at 5.9m and a pre-function area. Razzle-Dazzle can be divided into two perfect halves, perfect for hosting side-by-side events.
“Wink”
Located close to the vibrant Lobby and Restaurant, Wink provides a unique angled space with windows offering natural daylight looking out towards the marquee and swimming pool – or close the velvet drapes for absolute privacy. Wink offers 85sqm of meeting space, a ceiling height of 2.5m and space for a maximum 60 guests.
“Oomph”
An aqua coloured multi-purpose venue perfect for presentations or private dinners and cocktail events. Oomph is 80sqm, with a height of 2.5m and a capacity of up to 60. Double doors lead towards the outside marquee with an abundance of natural daylight. Royal coloured drapes provide a blackout option for presentations.
“Zing”
At 65sqm and a maximum capacity of 25 guests, this lounge like setting is ideal for executive meetings and events. A full kitchen gives the option for Naumi’s chefs to create yummy dishes right in front of your eyes. Enjoy revitalising fresh air on the double patio leading out to the pool gardens.
“Zest”
At 60sqm and a height of 2.5m, this upstairs oasis is ideal for private events or break-out sessions on Bean Bags to really get the brain juices flowing. Enjoy natural daylight or black out curtains for presentations on 75” Smart TV and a maximum capacity of 40 guests cocktail style.
Hotel Facilities
With 193 spacious rooms and suites offering private patios and balconies, an outdoor swimming pool, a perfectly manicured English garden, restaurant and bar, and fully-equipped gym, the property offers all the signature Naumi comforts with the idiosyncratic design and personalised, authentic service the brand is known for. For those with time to explore, the hotel is near New Zealand’s famous winery, Villa Maria Wine Estate, as well as the historic Otuataua Stonefields Reserve and Mangere Mountain.

Nightly rates at Naumi Auckland Airport start from NZ$350 (approx. £178) based on two adults sharing a Habitat Room on a room-only basis.
Alongside its two hotels in Singapore and the new Naumi Auckland Airport, Naumi Hotels will be adding to its portfolio with two new hotels in New Zealand. Following the purchase of CQ Hotels Wellington in the heart of Wellington’s lively Cuba Street, Naumi Hotels expects the handover for both properties to be completed by late 2018.
