CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH THE CAFÉ AT HOTEL CAFÉ ROYAL: A selection of seasonal treats available throughout the festive period


The Café, located within the iconic Hotel Café Royal, will be offering a selection of creative Christmas treats, by Executive Pastry Chef Andrew Blas and his team, available to enjoy within the venue’s marble surroundings on vibrant Regent Street as well as to take-away as ideal bespoke Christmas gifts for under the tree. The Christmas offerings will be available from 1 December 2014, and will include:

 

Golden Raisin Mince Pies

Golden sultanas and delicious flakey pastry.

Priced at: £7 for three

Christmas Gugelhupf

A union of flavours, to take us back and revisit childhood memories of Christmas.

Priced at: £20

Classic Christmas pudding with a twist

Made with marinated confit plums.

Priced at: £30

Valrhona Christmas Chocolates

A selection of eight different Christmas inspired flavours available.

Priced at: £8 per 100g

La Bûche du Père Nöel

The first Christmas yule log from Hotel Café Royal, made especially for Valrhona chocolate, with ingredients including hazelnut cream, light joconde sponge, mandarin and Valrhona Nyangbo mousse.

Priced at: £35 for a small yule log (six portions), and £45 for a large yule log (eight portions).

Speculas Kougelof

A Café Royal spin on the classic German cinnamon biscuit, and transformed into a signature cakes.

Priced at: £20

Stolen

Uniquely shaped stolen, Germany’s traditional Christmas cake.

Priced at: £25

Hotel Café Royal Christmas cake

Soaked and fed for one year to create a wonderfully moist and luxurious Christmas treat.

Hotel Café Royal Christmas Hampers

Hotel Café Royal will be retailing three luxurious Christmas hampers this festive season, each including a range of delicious food and drink items from The Café’s menu:

The Burlington Hamper, priced at £115, and includes Canton English Breakfast tea, coffee, lemon with Earl Grey organic marmalade, chocolate truffles from Café Royal’s chocolatier, mini shortbread squares, Kings Cure salmon, Boyajian citrus oils – lime, orange and lemon, Café Royal winter jam and a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

The Fitzrovia Hamper, priced at £160, and includes Canton English Breakfast tea, handmade chocolates, Acacia truffle honey, Café Royal Christmas pudding, Kings Naccarili 10g caviar with oyster shells and spoons, George’s Bruck Good rillettes, roasted and salted pistachios, lemon with Earl Grey organic marmalade, Valderrama Picudo olive oil, Sicilian pistachio biscuits, a bottle of Chablis Duvergey-Tuboureau and a bottle of Chateau de Ricaud, Grand Vin de Bordeaux.

The Soho Hamper, priced at £550, and includes Smoked wild Scottish salmon, dressed crab, half native lobster and mayonnaise, smoked eel and horseradish, Kings Naccarili 10g caviar with oyster shells and spoons, wild boar rillettes, Gran Luchito smoked chilli, Valderrama olive oil, baby stilton, crackers and chutney, Hotel Café Royal Christmas cake, a bottle of Fonseca, unfiltered LBV and a bottle of Dom Perignon 2004.

The Café is open daily from 8am to 10pm.
