Japanese restaurant Tokimeitē launches a new Kappo-style dining concept

Tokimiete

This February, Japanese restaurant Tokimeitē in Mayfair will launch a new interactive and unique dining experience to give guests, visitors and locals alike the chance to embrace the authentic Japanese Kappo tradition. The restaurant will only operate on the ground floor, with approximately 30 covers, and will serve a number of small plates from a beautifully crafted menu.

Inviting guests into an immersive dining experience, the concept was developed by internationally renowned chef, Yoshihiro Murata, and Tokimeitē’s executive chef, Daisuke Hayashi. Here, a daily-changing menu of fine dining Japanese dishes will be served adopting the ‘kappo’ tradition, an exquisite succession of Japanese small plates prepared in front of the guests by a dedicated chef. Diners at Tokimeitē will entrust Chef Hayashi to serve bespoke 6-10 course menus showcasing the finest and most delicious Japanese ingredients, such as Wagyu beef.

With Tokimeitē now established as a destination for more relaxed, Japanese cuisine in London, with the launch of the new concept, the restaurant will bring a bespoke, interactive experience that promises to both inform and excite its guests.
