Inhabit Hotels To Open First London Property In Summer 2019

Inhabit Hotels

December 2018…/ Summer 2019 will see the launch of new hotel brand, Inhabit Hotels, in London.  Set in six Georgian townhouses off a quaint Paddington mews, Inhabit London will offer a restorative townhouse experience to guests and the local community alike. Fusing Scandinavian design influences with traditional British heritage and touches of Eastern flair, interiors have been designed by Holland and Harvey Architects and Caitlin Henderson Design and feature serene guestrooms and peaceful communal areas, enhanced by a holistic art programme by Culture A.

Inhabit believes that healthy doesn’t have to be hard when travelling. A holistic approach will ensure guests stay nourished, rested and calm when on the road. With wellness‐ savvy staff, healthy food choices, a mind‐improving library and countless more thoughtful touches, every aspect of the guest experience has been sensitively designed.

The atrium, a meditative space at the heart of the hotel, will welcome guests to pause for thought and experience regular fitness classes, yoga and guided meditation. Additionally, a compact gym will provide all the basics and with Hyde Park on the doorstep, guided morning runs and mapped‐out running routes will help guests navigate the city’s green spaces.

Each of the hotel’s 90 rooms is carefully considered and soft and minimal in style, enabling guests to declutter their minds and enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Handcrafted fixtures, artwork sourced from local artists and a library have been carefully curated for each and every room. Products from Ren Clean Skincare encourage those simple self-care rituals that can be a highlight of a hotel stay.

Inhabit London will offer a café, a space for both guests and the local community, serving up quality coffee, cold-pressed juices and a delicious all-day menu.

Hotel guests will also have 24-hour access to a pantry, stocked with smart snacks sourced from small businesses and suppliers.

The hotel will be free of single-use plastics and partner with social enterprises such as Globechain, an online reuse platform connecting businesses, charities and people to enable reuse of unwanted and surplus items; Kalinko, a brand of ethically crafted textiles and homewares produced in Burma; and Goldfinger Factory, an award-winning and sustainable design and build social enterprise.

Nightly rates at Inhabit London will start from £150, room only and excluding VAT. Inhabit London is opening Summer 2019 on Southwick Street, London W2 1UH.
