With Easter just around the corner, here’s a round-up of some of the treats our clients have got in store for the long weekend!

To celebrate the extended weekend over the Easter period, Fiume will be offering their Italian brunch from Friday 30th March through to Monday 2nd April.  Furthermore, throughout the four days, a set Easter menu will be available for £45pp starting with Homemade pasta with Grana Padano Riserva, peas, broad beans & spring truffle, followed by Roasted and braised lamb with mash potato & seasonal vegetable and finished with Colomba Pasquale, a traditional Italian Easter cake. If this isn’t incentive enough, children can also eat for free from 27thMarch until 2nd April when they choose from the Bambini menu.

The Goring

One of the highlights of spending Easter weekend at The Goring is the annual Easter Egg Hunt which takes place on Easter Sunday in the hotel’s beautiful gardens. Having hidden the eggs, The Goring’s very own Easter bunny will be hopping around the garden greeting the children as they search for chocolate treasure. The whole family is encouraged to join the fun and games, including the chance to win a Michelin-starred dinner for two in The Dining Room. The hunt starts at 11 o’clock with Buck’s Fizz served for the adults and hot chocolate for the children, not to mention hot cross buns for all! Tickets are priced at £25 each, or complimentary for guests staying in the hotel.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Shay Cooper, The Dining Room will be also be serving a special lunch menu on Easter Sunday with starters including Violet artichoke salad, confit egg yolk, Katherine goat’s cheese, smoked mayonnaise and the restaurant’s signature Eggs Drumkilbo. Mains comprise dishes such as Marsh lamb, smoked aubergine, yoghurt, lamb sweetbreads, spiced pine nut and carrot and Scottish halibut, sautéed shellfish, fennel potatoes, Cornish seafood bisque. Finally, to finish the celebratory meal, a selection of puddings and British cheeses will be served from The Goring’s silver trolley.

Radici

Francesco Mazzei’s much loved Islington trattoria has recently launched an exciting new brunch menu complete with a unique brunch pizza which will be available on Friday and Monday as well as the weekend. From 12-4pm on Easter Sunday, Francesco’s favourite master butcher Sal Dorado will be giving live butchery and carving demonstrations as guests are invited to enjoy a feast of lamb and seasonal vegetables. Furthermore, children can eat for free when they choose from the carefully curated Bambini menu.

The Easter festivities don’t stop there, on 4 April between 10am and 12pm the kitchen doors will be opening for a children’s pizza masterclass led by Radici’s expert Italian chefs. Tickets for the event cost £15 to include a pizza for each child with accompanying condiments and decorations!

Sartoria

Francesco Mazzei’s renowned Mayfair restaurant, Sartoria, has recently launched a delicious selection of brunch dishes inspired by southern Italy, alongside some exciting new additions to the à la carte menu. Especially for the Easter period, Francesco has created an Eggs and truffle dish combining baked chicken, duck and quails eggs topped with truffle shavings. This seasonal special joins his revered Eggs Purgatorio with spicy tomato and ’nduja sauce and Patata e caviale, a double-baked potato with soft boiled egg and Keta caviar. From the accompanying special Saturday à la carte menu, starters include Balsamic glazed smoked eel with polenta; Fettucine with venison ragù and pistachio and Smoked mackerel, poached egg & avocado. Main courses comprise Sartoria’s signature Home cured black cod with liquorice, alongside Black Angus beef tagliata and cured marrow bones and Brown polenta with wild mushrooms. With its prestigious location on Saville Row, glamorous interiors, and a menu that showcases the very best of classic Italian cooking, Sartoria is set to become a Saturday brunch hotspot in the heart of Mayfair.

Conrad Chocktail

For a rather more grown-up chocolate offering this Easter, Conrad London St James will be serving this indulgent cocktail in the Blue Boar Bar from 26 March- 1 April. Combining chocolate liqueur with vodka and Frangelico (a hazelnut liqueur) this dangerously delicious tipple is sure to set the mood for a long weekend of fun and festivity. Celebrate Greek Easter at Meraki

This spring, Meraki is celebrating a traditional Greek Easter with a contemporary twist. Chef Patron Athinagoras Kostakos will be bringing his heritage to the table and serving a selection of festive specials from Good Friday on the 30th March through to Sunday 8th April – the weekend Easter is celebrated in Greece. Specials will include a traditional Easter Salad of eggs, spring onions, green herbs and a zesty lemon dressing, followed by a grilled Easter rack of lamb. Guests can finish with Galaktompoureko, a dessert of crispy filo pastry and silky set custard. As an extra special offering for Greek Easter, on 7th April a traditional Magiritsa soup will be served.

The celebratory occasion will also see the tables decorated with red eggs, a symbol of health and prosperity, which are used for traditional Greek Easter games. Dinner guests will also go home with a complimentary Easter brioche bread to enjoy for breakfast the next morning.

As Russian Easter falls later than European Easter, TWINS GARDEN by identical twin brothers Ivan and Sergey Berezutskiy, will be open daily starting at noon and are offering a special Lenten menu through 7th April. The restaurant is a re-launch and relocation of their previous site, TWINS. In 2017, TWINS was ranked 92nd in the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, 51-100 list. Opened later that year, TWINS GARDEN is comprised of a farm, two hours outside of Moscow, the restaurant itself and a laboratory which can be found in the same building as the restaurant.
