Sauce loves… Ice Cream
With all the sunshine we’ve been getting here in London, this week we’ve neglected the beach-body-friendly salad and maintained a diet of ICE CREAM! Here are some of our favourite fixes from the indulgent gelato sandwich to the extravagant curry ice cream dessert.

Salted caramel gelato sandwich at Jason Atherton’s Hai Cenato
Guests at Jason Atherton’s Italian restaurant, Hai Cenato, can enjoy an indulgent salted gelato sandwich to cool down this summer. Comprising creamy salted caramel gelato, within a soft warm brioche bun, the dessert offers a delightful balance of sweet and salty and a perfect treat to round of a meal at Victoria’s new hot-spot. In addition, the Hai Cenato’s range of gelato and sorbets can be ordered by the scoop, served in a cone.

Ice cream mochi balls at Mei Ume
As part of the Chinese and Japanese offering at newly opened Mei Ume, Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square, guests can complete their meal with a selection of ice cream mochi. Originating in Japan and available in matcha, coconut, mango and yuzu flavours, balls of ice cream are coated in a soft, chewy layer of pounded sticky rice, creating a moreish and insta-friendly twist on your traditional ice cream dessert.

Lingonberry ice cream at Nordic-French restaurant, Aster
Providing a Scandinavian twist on Britain’s favourite summertime treat, D&D London’s new Nordic-French restaurant, Aster, is serving a vibrant lingonberry ice cream. Comprising a delicious balance of sweet and bitterness, with an indulgent creamy texture, the dessert offers an interesting use for Sweden’s most popular wild fruit.

‘Solero’ at Launceston Place
The Kensington classic has summery desserts all wrapped up: Head Chef Ben Murphy’s ‘Solero’ is actually a misdirection, being a dairy-free confection of coconut mousse with a clementine glaze. You can order the lolly from both the Sunday lunch and the Tasting menu.
