Barrs Yard Artisans Collective to launch this Spring!

Barrs Yard

The team behind one of the country’s leading suppliers of antique and contemporary garden items will be expanding their offering with the launch of Barrs Yard – an artisans collective located in Hungerford, just an hour from London. The collective, founded by husband and wife team Travers and Katie Nettleton will bring together a number of independent businesses including a deli, wine shop, fashion boutique, gardening clothing brand and art gallery which will reside alongside Garden Art Plus’s own shop to create this unique shopping and lifestyle destination.

Katie and Travers founded Garden Art Plus in 2004 and since then its ever-changing display of antique garden statuary, urns, fountains, benches and tables alongside often eclectic items such as finely decorated gates, pergolas, stone troughs, has become one of the town’s most striking features attracting prospective buyers from across the UK.

12 years later, Katie and Travers decided to open their doors to other likeminded businesses and establish the Artisans Collective.

Travers Nettleton commented: “The concept behind The Barrs Yard Artisans Collective is to establish, one easily accessible site, a collection of likeminded people who believe in producing the highest quality products and services and who collectively can benefit from each other and appeal to a wide variety of visitors to the yard.”

True to the horticultural origins of the family business, there could not be a more fitting location for this venture. Barrs Yard will launch on 5th May and will be open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.
