London 18 April 2018 // Independent hotel loyalty club Wanup is delighted to announce a new partnership with Musement to provide members with a host of in-destination experiences including top attractions, museum visits, food experiences, adventure tours and more. These activities are available to book through Musement gift cards, now available for loyalty club members to redeem with their travel cash, ideal for millennial travellers who value experiences over point rewards to make the most of business trips and holidays abroad.
Due to an increasing emphasis on travellers looking for cultural and arts activities in particular, as indicated by recent research from Wanup which found that 56.7% of business travellers enjoy cultural experiences during their spare time on business trips, the partnership with Musement means that members are provided with a wider range of ways to redeem their travel cash. This is based on their personalised hobbies and preferences, earned with each hotel booking through Wanup and now including the opportunity to earn Musement gift cards, ideal for both holidays and ‘bleisure’ trips, to make the travel experience more rewarding from beginning to end. Available to redeem in 10, 25 or 50 pounds values, members can make the most of their trip with a wide range of activities, from an ancient sites tour of Rome to Mozart concerts in Vienna. Members simply log in to their Wanup profile online or via the app and click on ‘redeem experiences’ to access their choice of rewards.
Research continues to suggest that millennials prefer experiences over points, including Wanup’s own European travel loyalty report, which found that European business travellers view in-destination perks as the most important incentive for joining a rewards programme, with 74.2% of millennials happy to share their own personal data to receive a more personalised service. As this demand increases, Wanup continues to develop its offering to members to provide the widest possible range of experiences for users to enjoy, with future brand partnerships to further enhance the Wanup Rewards offering in development.
